Letting Go as the Right Choice.

I never thought I would find myself at this kind of crossroads. In the past, letting go always felt like giving up, a defeat one had to accept. It has never been easy, but this time, I focused on the second part of that phrase: it was the right choice. It wasn’t about quitting. No matter how you looked at it, one had to walk away.We all view “letting go” differently because we are naturally wired to protect ourselves to ensure we aren’t losing out anymore. But in this scenario, I was the one on the losing end. It was tough. However, I am in a season of life where I truly believe that if I can conceive it in my head, I can hold it in my hands. And so, I broke my own heart and then I mended it.If you are currently facing a moment where you have to let go, don’t look back. Even if it feels like you just walked away from your peak. Remember this: if you possessed the talent and drive to get there once, you can do it again. Focus on the present and build that future. Even if you cut a tree down to its stump, it can always grow again.
