As long as there is a belief…
Ask, believe, and you shall receive. We’ve all heard this more than once, and most people stumble on the second part. This is because there is a period of waiting between the belief and the arrival. During that time, we struggle to fight against the seed of doubt because once it takes root, it can suffocate the very harvest we’ve worked so hard to plant.
This year, it was and is my prayer to have delusional faith that everything will work out. A belief so stubborn it refuses to be moved by current circumstances. From the little things to the great things, it is all going to work out in my favour. But the season of waiting is a harsh teacher. It has reminded me that being patient is not just waiting; it’s the endurance to keep your head up while everyone else seems to be sprinting past you toward their own finish lines.
It is exhausting to wake up to the same routine, day after day, feeling as though you are stuck. It is a mental battle against doubt. To reach the pinnacle of life, one has to be willing to go through days where you feel empty and invisible so that when it is one’s time to shine and achieve all one’s aspirations, one’s foundation is so solid that nothing and no one will block one’s way.
If you are currently in the middle of your wait, do not let despair eat away at your progress. You have come too far from the starting point to turn back now. Faith isn’t the absence of doubt; it is the decision to keep walking despite it.
Hold on to your vision. Believe in your efforts, the timing of the universe, and the hand of God. You will receive something even more expansive than you imagined.
As long as you believe.
